Bernhard Luginbühl is considered one of the most important Swiss iron sculptors of the modern era. He made a name for himself internationally not only with his mighty metal figures, but also with his legendary, spectacular burnings of huge wooden constructions. The park in Mötschwil was much more than an exhibition venue for Luginbühl: it was his home, his creative workshop and a lively meeting place for art icons such as his close friend Jean Tinguely.
